IPEM select Wattle for new Member Portal
The Institute, a charitable and professional organisation that represents over 4,600 physicists, engineers, and technologist members, is to partner with Wattle to implement a truly transformational Membership Portal.
Over the next 8 months the combined IPEM and Wattle team will configure the Member Portal element of MemEx, our Membership Experience Platform, to deliver self-service across a range of membership processes to the Institutes members and volunteers.
The Institute of Physics & Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) is a professional organisation and charity with over 4,600 members, dedicated to promoting the application of physics and engineering principles to medicine and healthcare.
Their mission is to improve health through Physics and Engineering in Medicine. The Institute’s vision is one in which professionalism drives improvements in diagnosis, treatment, and care, transforming the lives of patients. Their members, the professional community of medical physicists, biomedical engineers, and clinical technologists working in hospitals, academia and industry around the world are the people who deliver on the mission and vision.
IPEM are currently engaged in a project to introduce a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM system, which is due to launch in late 2023, and Wattle will work closely with the Institutes chosen CRM Partner to ensure their new MemEx Member Portal is seamlessly integrated.
The MemEx Member Portal will act as a gateway into the new D365 CRM for the IPEM’s members and volunteers, enabling them to self-serve across a range of membership processes, including renewing their membership, paying outstanding invoices, submitting expense claims, updating their personal information (including EDI data), managing their communication preferences in line with GDPR, and viewing their upcoming tasks and appointments.
In addition to core membership processes, the Institutes MemEx Member Portal will offer feature rich functionality to boost engagement and retention among IPEM members, through:
The MemEx Member Portal will be configured based on user personas, offering the IPEM the ability to control which user types have access to each area of the portal.
We look forward to sharing future updates about the Institute's exciting MemEx Member Portal build. To learn more about how Wattle can support your membership organisation contact our expert team today.
