We are delighted to announce that the Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) has joined a growing number of organisation on MemEx - our Membership Experience Platform for charities, non-profits and membership organisations.
ROS is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to improving the lives of everyone effected by Osteoporosis. Modern technology continues to be a major priority for the society, with digital platforms playing an increasingly important role in the charities long-term strategy.
Wattle were selected as the charity's strategic technology partner to deliver an extensive digital transformation programme aimed at consolidating internal systems, improving organisational efficiency and enhancing relationship management capabilities with stakeholders, donors and volunteers.
The programme began with an extensive discovery phase, which enabled our project team to gain a critical understanding of the charities culture, organisational needs and functional requirements across website CMS and CRM technologies. The implementation began with a gap fit analysis of those requirements against the existing functionality on the MemEx platform. Requirements outside core MemEx functionality were then defined and delivered via additional development and configuration, including systems integration for GoCardless, Direct Debit, Donations, Fundraising Campaign Management and GiftAid.
MemEx unifies two of the non-profit sectors most popular cloud technologies, Umbraco's CMS for website and donor and volunteer self-service portal development and Microsoft's Dynamics 365 CRM for end to end donor and volunteer management.
What makes the ROS go-live so unique is the fact it was delivered 100% remotely, by the combined project team, following home working guidelines outlined by the government regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shortly following go-live we received some fantastic feedback from the ROS team: “The new CRM is much simpler and easier to navigate”, “The website is a rocket, it’s so fast to use now” and “We have so much more flexibility for how we design our web pages”. We are looking forward to working in partnership with ROS to help them realise further significant cost saving and efficiency benefits over the coming months.
